| Federalist Party Frequently Asked Questions (Updated:11/29)
Why should I join the Federalist Party (FP)? • If you believe in the economy first, having a fiscally responsible government, nationalism, and non-interventionism this party is for you. We also have a very active forum, lots of active citizens who are fun to chat with, a Wellness program if you need it, we don't believe in an official hierarchy so all members from day one can contribute their opinions on an equal plane, and we listen to everyone's ideas, not just the older players.
What is the Organization "Federalist Party" and who runs it? • The Organization "Federalist Party" is an essential embodiment of the Federalist Party. It holds the official party newspaper and will be used to "mass PM" necessary information to party members. It is run by the Party President, Party Vice President, and other individuals that have shown an enormous amount of effort for the Federalist Party. If you have questions about the party just PM this to get your answer.
Why was the Organization created? • The Organization was created to help our party manage business without flooding our Party President with general PM's and having a constantly changing source of information (Newspaper). The Organization can easily change hands if a new President/Vice president is elected and the information is always there.
Do you have any congressmen? • No, we have a congresswoman. Tiacha won in Ohio and is currently our only voice in congress. We are one of two parties outside the top 5 that have a congressional seat (The other being Boba The Fett of RAMROD).
Who was the original founder of the Federalist Party? • Rise is the official founder of The Federalist Party.
Has the party name ever changed? • Yes. Originally we were the "The Federalist Party (TFP)" because the eRepublicans for Change (RfC) changed their party name to "Federalist Party" so Rise added "The" to create the party. The RfC members were not happy with this change and quickly voted to go back to their old name. It was at this time The Federalist Party (TFP) voted to remove the article "The" from the name and "T" from the acronym and became the "Federalist Party (FP)".
Why was the Federalist Party created? • The creation of this party arose from from a proposed name change to the RfC party. One of the options given was "Federalist Party" and several members did research on that and other party names to find which was closest to RfC views. Through this research, several party members noticed that the Federalist ideals did not match the RfC's, but these members agreed with the views more than the RfC's. There existed no party that matched the Federalist ideals so Rise took 40 gold and created The Federalist Party and several RfC members quickly joined him.
What happened to Rise? • Rise vanished 10/31 without saying a word. He still is alive in game and apparently is surviving on massive food supplies as his wellness still is 100. No more is known about his disappearance.
What is "The Alliance"? • "The Alliance" is the temporary name for a group of 3 non-top-5 parties that have formed a verbal pact to help each other whenever possible. The parties include the Federalist Party (FP), the Green Party (GP) and RAMROD (???). Each party has its separate, yet similar, beliefs and functions independently, but whenever possible we help our allies.
What does "non-interventualism" mean? • We are a non-interventionalist party, which means we don't believe in butting into other nation's business because we can. We should only step into situations that involve us directly or situations the USA has a vested interest in.
Does that mean you don't believe in wars? • No. War's are a necessary part of the game to help the economy, but this can be achieved through mock wars as well. We believe that war should be a final solution for a problem when all other methods of resolving the situation have failed, but when push comes to shove, we will go to war.
What is a mock war? • A mock war is a war between two countries that are allies, who both chose to go to war to help strengthen their armies as well as burn off excess gun supplies (and to add a little spice to the game).
What does "nationalism" mean? Do you just say "I <3 USA"? • While we do love our USA, nationalism means supporting USA products and services. We try to promote buying from USA companies because it helps keep our money in our markets and make wages increase. Why should we put money into other nation's wallets when we could spend a few pennies more and help our own economy?
Do you have a religious affiliation? • The Federalist Party does not have any affiliation with any religion. We do not discriminate our members based on the religion they believe in and we feel it is the choice of the individual to select his or her own religion.
Who have you supported for President in the past? • In the November 08 elections we supported Benn Dover for President.
Who do you support for the Decemember 08 Presidential Eleciton? • We have not officially decided who our final candidate will be yet. Benn Dover was selected because he is the incumbent, but further discussions will be held when we see who is officially running. So far no candidates have been eliminated and any party member is welcome to write an article in our forums about who he or she thinks we should endorse and why.
What are your opinions of Michael Lewis? • We have no official party stance towards ML and believe that is an individual's opinion.
What if I agree with some of your party views, but have a few suggestions to make? • If you agree with most of our party views you should join our party. Part of our Doctrine of Beliefs is that as the eWorld changes, our party must be willing to adapt. All party beliefs are able to be amended or completely re-written based on a majority consensus of active members. So if you see something that you don't agree with and want to propose a change, you are free to do so.
True or false, this statement is false? • True, wait... False. No, it's true...FALSE! True! FALSE! Tralse?! Falue?! AH! We plead the 5th.

| I'm not sure if this is the place to state this or not, but doesn't some of the things that DesertFalcon stand for go against the values and beliefs of the Federalist Party? | |

Yes, some of it does, but out of all the candidates, he matches what we stand for fiscally the most. Plus, we had a party vote and the majority of members selected DF for the endorsement.

| I think this FAQ is in need of an update.
For instance, answer "What is the Federalist IRC Channel?"
